Our facility offers:
- 12x12 stalls, some with runouts, all horses get daily full day turnout either individually or in small groups.
- A large indoor dust free arena with regular maintenance including dragging almost daily, professional leveling at least once a year and maintenance in between as needed.
- A large outdoor arena with GGT footing also with the same regular maintenance.
- A small outdoor lunging/groundwork arena
- A round pen arena that is in progress of getting footing as well.
- Direct access to miles of trails as well as regular groups who head out on adventures
- Indoor wash stall with hot water for colder months
- 2 outdoor wash stalls for the summer
- Poulin grain provided but we allow boarders to provide any diet they prefer
- 4 large hay feedings a day with options for 24/7 hay
- High quality tested hay
- Up to 4 grain feedings a day if necessary
- Fly gear, blanket changes etc, included in board
- 3 trainers available on property and other trainers welcome as well. Dressage, driving, hunter jumpers, endurance, positive reinforcement all various focuses of the 3 trainers
- Managed by someone with a BS in Equine Science ensuring the horse’s needs are put first
- Multiple vets and farriers, your choice of who you use

Our amazing staff treat each horse as their own. We believe more the turnout the better for the health and wellbeing or our horses. They are built for movement after all. High quality forage first is a priority for keeping our horses healthy and happy.

We also believe heavily in a good barn family atmosphere. Equestrians who support each other is huge to us. We want to learn and grow together to make this sport more fun for us and our horses.

Stall with a runout is $1,300
Regular stall is $1,150

Training is separate from the facility.

Thank you to our amazing crew for bringing your A game despite the weather! The horses have had buckets cleaned daily and lots of fresh water, hose downs if they need it. And 5AM turnout so they can be in front of their fans at noon and out of the heat. And then our great team can hide from the heat of the day too!

Another early morning for the ponies! They are so beyond happy to have a cooler less humid morning today. Lots of rolling and playing to be had and they are having the time of their lives! I so love to see their joy!

Graystone Stables located in Berwick Maine has openings for board. We will have a few stalls coming available in July and August. Graystone Stables is an active show stable with exceptional care, spacious stalls, safe turnout, and multiple trainers on site.
Facilities:
* 2 barns - 36 Stalls (14 with attached runouts) both attached to the indoor
* Climate controlled tack room’s
* Individual tack lockers
* Adult barn - 14 stalls and a separate tack room from the lesson programs
* Main barn - 22 stalls with 2 bathrooms in the large tack room
* 70 X 170 Indoor Arena (Dust Free) - New footing installed November 2021. We drag daily in the winter and as needed the rest of the year. Footing is regularly maintained and added as needed
* 100 X 200 Outdoor Arena GGT Footing (also installed in November 2021) and fully fenced in
* Outdoor lunging pad for warmer months
* Indoor wash stall with hot and cold water
* Individual or group turnout
* Upgraded turnout fencing professionally installed (We started this project spring of 2022 and are about halfway through)
* Medical paddocks for return from injury (runouts available during the day for horses on stall rest)
* Direct access to trails
Care:
* All day turnout (weather permitting) typically from 7:30 to 3:30, later in summer
* Large 12x12 matted box stalls
* Fresh water daily inside and out. Waters are cleaned multiple times a week
* Canadian hay
* Pine shavings
* Hay 4x/day with amount depending on individual needs and extra during cold snaps
* Grain fed up to 4x/day (8lbs included in board) supplements added when supplied by owner
* Boots/bell boots for turnout upon request
* Fly gear upon request
* Blanket changes in winter
* Catching for vet + farrier
* Medication administration and wound care as needed
* Soaked hay as needed
* Soaked grain as needed
Our team consists of knowledgeable horse people with years of experience working along side the trainers, vets and farriers to ensure the best possible care for your equine partners. Currently Graystone Stables is primarily a hunter jumper farm but all are welcome. We also have a few dressage riders with an established relationship with a local trainer who comes to them. Both main trainers have active lesson programs and work together to run our successful IEA team. We are an active show stables with opportunities to show both at home shows as well as with our trainers at rated shows throughout the season.
We allow individuals to use their own vet and farrier. Graystone is also conveniently located about 15 minutes from New England Equine Emergency & Surgical Center with the means to transport horses there in the event of an emergency.
