Ventured down the backroad to good ol Viola for the pre harvest race! Started both heats in P3 and was able to win both heats which started me on the pole for the 15 lap feature. Led the feature green to checkered to cash out for $150 pay day! 🤑

With both heat wins & the feature win I was also able to sweep the night 🧹

Overall had a goodnight racing and I always enjoy being at Viola and being able to play with all of my friends.

WHAT A WEEKEND! 😬🤩 Successful weekend and even more successful first visit to Thunder Hill!

Went 4/4 in the Restricted Box Stock kart 😎 and finished with a 2nd & 3rd in the Blue Plate kart!

AJC morning show —— what a race in the restricted box stock feature! Lap traffic came into play and thankfully Ian made the right decision with two to go and pulled off the win! 🏆 Blue plate; Ian got out to a good start and ended up leading 10/15 laps before he fell back to 2nd where he finished. ✅

Thunder Hill Wing Nationals Night Show = Checked out for the maniacs biggest pay day to date… 💲1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣! 🤑

Led the dash start to finish, and then came back and did the same thing in the feature for another 15 laps! 🏎️💨

Can’t thank my dad enough for all the time and effort he puts in to my racing, one things for sure more times than not, he seems to always be able to hook me up with a rocket! 🚀 I’ve always got the best power plant behind me as well with the good ol Performance Karting engine.

After day 1 of 3 getting rained out yesterday we weren’t sure what to expect, but were more than happy to be able to race on day 2 especially after driving 6 hours!

The maniac SHOWED UP! 🏆

We didn’t have high expectations coming into this show especially since we’ve never been here just wanted to make the show and finish somewhere in the top 5. Ended up sweeping the Day & Night Show in Restricted Box Stock! 🧹

Ian is officially locked into the Dash for tomorrow nights show and will run the dash & then the AMain with the dash determining the starting positions for the top 4 in the AMain for $1500! 🤑

We start over tomorrow morning with the AJC National Championship for Rbox & Rbox 2.

Day 1: Thunder Hill

No Racing 🚫

For the first time ever… we watched helicopters be brought in to try & dry the racing surface, & ultimately they ended up cancelling the Thursday portion of the show.

So instead we enjoyed some dinner & games with our racing family and are hoping the weather cooperates for the remaining 2 days! 🤞🏼😬

Dad decided to let me run BP & Restricted Box Stock tonight… BP turned out pretty good, made improvements and passed karts ended P6 out of 14 which is definitely an accomplishment for being the youngest in the pack running with mainly 10-13 year olds while I just turned 7 not even a month ago 🤪

Restricted box stock was a different story 🫣 Dad may or may not of forgot to put oil in the motor before hot laps, and we ended up blowing up our golden ticket 😅 strapped on another motor after that, but it didn’t have near the power or pull that our other one had. You live and you learn. Juggling 2 karts back to back in lineup is a lot but we made the best of it and settled for 2nd in the feature.
