Congratulations to our Ladies team for defending their Ladies Team Matches title yesterday at the Berwick Golf Club!

The historic team matches have been contested since the 1960's throughout NEPA comprised of 4 club teams who play at each respective host venues throughout the summer for a total team points accumulation to determine the champion. Format is better-ball of partners net (3 points up for grabs each match - front 9, back 9 and total match play points).

The 4 teams this season: Berwick, Frosty Valley/Irem, Wyoming Valley and Fox Hill

Going into the final round yesterday held at the BGC, our ladies were 2 points down to Frosty Valley/Irem and our ladies came to play! We swept the points against Frosty Valley/Irem 12-0 to give us a 10 point victory! Final team points breakdown:

Berwick Golf Club: 32.5 points
Frosty Valley/Irem: 22.5 points
Wyoming Valley: 22 points
Fox Hill: 19 points

Congratulations to Hugh Kyttle for recording a hole-in-one today on #2! His playing partners were Pete Palmiero, Dave Paolinelli and Gary Szilagyi, this is Hugh's second career hole-in-one (his first was #10 at The Willows).

Congratulations to Grant Gronka and Devin McLaughlin for capturing the 64th Annual Berwick Invitational at the Berwick Golf Club this past weekend! The duo fired 3 solid better-ball of partners rounds of 66, 64, 64 to win by 6 shots over Luke Morgan and Randy Kurzinsky! This is Devin's 3rd straight win in this event (the previous 2 were with Peyton Mussina as a partner).

In the Senior Division, the team of Carl Stackhouse and Kerry Maurer won the Berwick Invitational Senior Division for the 4th time in the past 5 years! Carl and Kerry had consistent and exceptional better-ball rounds of 67, 66, 67 to win by 5 shots over the team of Jack Miller and Mike Morzilla.

Congratulations to all who participated in making this 64th edition of the Invitational a fun filled event with a lifetime of memories!

2026 Berwick Invitational Event :: Tournament Results

Congratulations to the team of Jacob Cameron, Trevor Krisanda, Hugh Kyttle and Keith Redis for taking the title in the 15th Annual Veteran's Appreciation Tournament on Saturday, July 4th! The foursome fired a (-13) 58 team scramble score and won in a match of cards (back 9 total) over runner-up team comprised of Jack Miller, Kyle Miller, Chris Lopes and Jeremy Chapin.


A special THANK YOU to Gary Powlus for coordinating a great event once again and honoring our 26 veterans we had playing in the tournament following golf in the banquet room. THANK YOU VETERANS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR OUR COUNTRY!!
