Ausable Wulff

Who remembers these? The McMurray Ant. From the 1970's.

The bodies were created by Ed Sutryn from McMurray Pennsylvania.

I think the original had a piece of fine wire that was placed between , and through, the Balsa wood body segments and the the wire was bent at each end. Later replaced by monofilament that was then heated at each end to form a small ball.
I still have a few bodies and keep a few in my terrestrial selection.

An overnight, impromptu, trip to the Catskills. Gotta give a shout out to the local shops for great service and sage advise for finding me some cool water. ( and making my wallet a bit lighter)

Beadhead Slate Drake Nymph.

Hook: Daiichi 1720 size 12 or equivalent.
Thread : 8/0 Wisp, black.
Bead : MFC Black Nickel size 1/8"
Tail: Pheasant tail fibers.
Rib: Uni-Thread 3/0 Brown.
Stripe: Uni-Thread 3/0 White.
Dubbing: Morning Dew Angler Fur Blend, Slate Drake Nymph .
Legs: Brown Partridge.
Wing Case: Black Crow Wing .

Scientific Anglers System 5 by Hardy with 2 extra spools.

A nice System 5 with two extra spools.

One spool with a DT-5-F and the other a WF-5-F; Both lines look fairly new and in good condition.

The frame has a bit of rim rash but overall in good condition.
Includes one reel case in nice condition.

DAIICHI Hook Sale.

I recently acquired a large amount of Daiichi hooks in 100 count boxes.

These are all New Old Stock. In new condition.

I'm letting these go very reasonably. All are 20.00 per box of 100 except for the Stainless Saltwater hooks are 30.00 Per box of 100.
