In remembrance of our heroes this Memorial Day.

Our barn family said goodbye to one of our sweet lesson horses very unexpectedly.

We never truly know how long we have together, and we were a short chapter in the book of Bingos life. He was loved and valued by children and adults alike in his time with us. It makes it a little easier on my heart to know he was cherished at the end of his life.

He crossed the rainbow bridge on the farm founder, Miss René’s birthday. That’s Miss Lizzie’s mom. I’m certain she was waiting at the end of the rainbow bridge for him, to bring him home and love him until we meet again.

Rest easy, our sweet Bingo.

A big shout out to our barn family for a great spring cleanup day!!

We got all of our new jump poles sanded and base coat painted!! We can’t wait to add some color and design to them!

We pulled EVERYTHING out of the tack room, cleaned, and organized!

We cobwebbed the entire arena and along some of our stalls.

Got a lot of wood moved and tidied up, got the side of the barn cleaned up (massive props to Jake there)!

Cleaned up and redid the area in front of some of our arena stalls.

Scrubbed all our jump blocks fresh and clean.

Deep cleaned all the water buckets!

Got a lot of winter shedding hair off the lesson saddle pads….

And miss Cheri started tidying the lounge for our summer camps!

Plus we snuck our annual show planning meeting in there and got everyone excited for the show season!

We had pizza at the meeting and everyone that helped for barn family cleanup day will receive an HSF tshirt.

Grateful for our barn! Think spring!!

Baby Brooks, of course, was here to supervise, stare longingly at the power tools, and help scrub water buckets!

There could not have been a better way to celebrate than to spend the day cross country riding at Stone Gate Farm! While not all of Hunter Spring's riders do cross country, many of our younger equestrians have discovered the joy of the longer rides, the variety of jumps, beautiful landscapes, and extra bonding time with the horses. 🐎

We have amazing staff, even better arts/craft lady, and if you can imagine even better ponies that are looking forward to seeing all our past and new riders come for camp. 🤩

One of our local Boy Scout troops (and dads) came to HSF to learn about horse care, tacking up, and riding! Miss Krystal taught grooming, haltering, and leading. Miss Lizzie showed the group how to saddle up and ride!

In exchange for lessons, the troop helped us tremendously with chores around the farm! We are so appreciative of this hard working group in our community!

(Also, a shout out to Miss Cheri and Mr. Jake for their help! And we can't forget BIIIIG ELLIOT who so graciously participated in demonstrations and riding lessons!)

Hunter Spring Farm is so proud of all our barn family members that are past and present military members.

A number of our barn family are proudly serving in the Air Force National Guard.

On Fridays we wear our RED shirts to Remember Everyone Deployed.

To our barn family overseas - you are in our thoughts and prayers and we can’t wait to see you home safe.

Today's riders better bring their thinking caps - Baby Brooks set up the course today and it's a tad confusing. The only thing I know for certain is that you must enthusiastically clap each time you round a cone! 😅

Local folks, if you haven't heard...

To show our support of friends and families who are active Military at HSF, we are selling red shirts to wear on Fridays.

Red Shirt Friday, or R.E.D. Friday ("Remember Everyone Deployed") is a grassroots movement encouraging people to wear red every Friday to show support for U.S. service members deployed overseas and to honor veterans.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE VETERANS RANCH, AN ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES EQUINE THERARPY TO VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Orders and Payment are due by March 20th.
Shirts may be picked up at Hunter Spring Farm during regular business hours the week of April 6th.
