Track me down and talk about Float Alaska DIY fishing or invite me on your exotic trip....both options work for me!

We are wrapping up a great 2025 season-Salmon numbers were all on the upper end of recent counts. Dollie’s showed up in very good numbers. We were hit hard by some late heavy weather reminding us to add extra days and adjust rivers as needed. Thanks to the team in Bethel (still working hard on moose season!)

Stay ahead of the curve. With a couple of very busy years behind us now is the time to float a river catch fish and camp for 10 days with a good chance of not seeing another group. Last year I fished 10 days on a premium river and saw 1 guide with 2 clients.

In a wet year we snuck out 9 days of sunshine chunky rainbows and grayling. Kings were finicky but we caught close to 100 jacks (2025 hmmm!). We managed some fair hooked sockeye and found some Dolly Varden.

We are wrapping up an exciting and sometimes challenging season. While the weather hit us hard at times there was plenty of amazing fishing mixed in with some great times with friends.

We bought these rubber toenails for our aging dog to test them out. She is slipping on the hardwood floor and makes a lot of noise. These were not expensive, and most likely will fall off, but we thought it would be worth the effort.
