CONNECTING AS WE ISOLATE
Reflecting on creating twenty yoga classes during a pandemic.
The experience was satisfying even though some days
I felt both detached and overwhelmed. I knew meditation was beneficial for all of us so worked more of it into classes.
There was the twin challenge of acknowledging the pandemic and all it means as well as finding avenues for comfort and connection. Made me think of an evening class last year with three generations of the same family in the studio – grandmother, daughter, granddaughter and me.
A warm moment.
Recall those kinds of feelings in your heart and know they’re still here as we isolate.
