The weather is cooling down, but it’s always a party over here! ⛺️ 🎈
Water is toasty and without the breeze it’s comfy under the tent. 🐠💪☀️

Love this kid. Love that he’s finally happy in lessons and love that his confidence finally matches his skill. Here’s to my best pool deck rearranging, trash clean up, dance jumping wild one. Yay B! And YAY MOM for persisting through the tough lessons. He’s had the skills for years. Now he has the smiles too.

Sweet girl jumps from a step into her float. Laughing and happy she rests and breathes waiting to be picked up.
She knows she’s safe now.
It wasn’t easy. She worked really hard.
But she’s got it. 💪❤️🐠

I haven’t scrolled through the list of kiddos that completed the Splish Splash and Dash youth triathlon to see who all tackled it yet.
But as I drove home from NC yesterday these kiddos popped up in my messages.
Thanks for sharing, parents!
I am SO PROUD of each and every one of you!! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️❤️

Did you know ISR instructors are all independent contractors, but most of us work together as a team?

I’m so grateful for the the crew of central Ohio instructors that are always a text, phone call or lunch date away.

We share students, ideas, solutions and resources.
(And a lot of laughs and weather reports!)

Even if we aren’t side by side in the pool - we have each other’s backs!

This is so true! Popping your ISR kiddo in a puddle jumper even occasionally can really confuse them. (The look on this poor kiddos face when she can’t float vertically anymore!) Dependence on goggles can be equally confusing. Mix it up! Use those skills in the pool and save the life preservers for when they’re NOT supposed to be swimming. (Hint: that’s what they’re actually made for!)

Took my two 🐠 to the neighborhood pool today to play with friends. I think it’s only the 2nd time I’ve been there in 10 years.

Realized very quickly that we are *homepooled* to a fault over here.

✅Yes you need a swimsuit. (All the parts)
✅No you can’t bring all 12 dolls.
✅Yes there will be “other” people.
✅No I can’t turn the heater on.
✅Yes they’ll blow the whistle as soon as you get in. They don’t care that it took you 44 minutes to get used to the water.
Anyone else with a pool at home have the same problem? Or is it just my kids?

😂🎪 Thanks for playing today Z & A! We had a great time. ❤️

When you’re the tiniest but your mom makes sure you’re also the safest! ❤️

Planning vacations with family for winter or next spring? Start thinking about your youngest family members. Who will be mobile by then that isn’t already floating?

The sooner they learn to float, the stronger they’ll be when they may need to use it.

🐠Lessons begin at 6 months old for infants that can sit independently.💪
