As a result of moving the 50k event to Sunday, this year racers were afforded the chance to enter both the Susitna 100 and Little SU 50k, racing in them back to back for the first time. Spencer Martin commendably rose to the challenge, achieving this impressive feat in a remarkably tough year. Congratulations to Spencer on realizing the inaugural Double SU. Extraordinary effort!

More grooming the Little Su 50K course tomorrow.

Our faithful sno-go trail guys rode the whole course today - 4 machines, 1 drag. There are definitely soft sections. Hopefully they set up tonight. The biggest challenge will be between Flathorn & 5 Star.

The SU-100 trail markers were placed yesterday. Some areas are better than others, but overall the course is in good shape!

We lost a wonderful volunteer, avid outdoor enthusiast and all around beautiful person to cancer today. Rest in peace Terry Slaven. You are loved and will be missed.

Today, we managed to open up around 45-50 miles of the course, some of which had been untouched by traffic this year. The majority of our route today showed signs of receiving approximately a foot of fresh snow yesterday.
