I was on a training today and we talked about Imposter Syndrome. It was a great reminder that even people like Michelle Obama & J-Lo feel like they aren't good enough, and like they don't belong.
To someone you ARE the expert. Somewhere out there, someone is watching you in awe! You do belong.
We all get those imposter feelings, but it's what you do with them, how you move forward through them that separates the goods from the greats. The "could have been's" from the "they fking did!"
Keep moving, keep pushing. I'm cheering for you.

The week between Christmas and New Year can hold a variety of emotions.
For me suddenly it has brought on an insurgence of anxiety. I'm struggling to place it but today I finally allowed myself space.
I sat in silence, I practice deep calming breaths and just let myself feel. I allowed myself to fully process the emotions I was feeling. I acknowledged the feeling, named it and then breath it out.
I recognized the things I can control and the things I cannot. The things I cannot control are of no service to me, they are no longer allowed to take up time & space in my life.
We are in charge of creating a life we are obsessed with.
We are in charge of protecting our peace.
We are in charge of dreaming so big that it simultaneously scares and excites us.
The remainder of this week will be devoted to wrapping up the year, finalizing content and planning for 2023 but only to a point that feels right to me.
The remainder of this week will be devoted to my family, to spending time with my husband and kids and friends. It will be devoted to sleeping in and eating delicious food and drinks. It will be devoted to celebrating all we have accomplished this year!
When I fill myself with real, genuine, gratitude the anxiety doesn't hold much power anymore. Suddenly, my heart slows down and I cannot help but smile. There will never be another day like today and it is too precious to spend it with worry.
If this time around the holidays fills you with mixed feelings, know that I see you and I am here for you. There is no one way to process that, so remember to give yourself grace and spend a few minutes in gratitude for all the incredible moments you have experienced and all that you have accomplished.
Remember the planning can wait and you are a fu***ng rockstar!

Entrepreneurship is hard
It is stressful and there can be a lot of late nights, early morning and restless sleep.
But then are days like today. Today I spent my morning in the quiet with tea and work before the kids woke up.
Then I brainstormed with an incredible non-profit I am assisting and this afternoon I get to work by the pool while my kids enjoy their last weeks of summer.
The flexibility, creativity and opportunities make all the stress and anxiety worth it!
