The Billings Breakfast Optimist and Heights Optimist Clubs are excited to announce the 2026 Shoot for Youth Golf Tournament — supporting youth programs throughout our community.

For more than 65 years, our Optimist clubs have invested in kids through leadership programs, scholarships, youth camps, Junior Golf, and many other local initiatives.

🎤 Students: Your Voice Could Earn You a Scholarship!

The Billings Breakfast Optimist Club is hosting the Optimist International Oratorical Contest, and we’re inviting local students to participate.

This year’s speech topic:
✨ “The Moment I Realized I Belonged — My Definition of Community.”

Students will deliver a 4–5 minute speech and compete for the chance to advance to higher levels of competition — with college scholarships available.

📚 Who can participate?
Students under age 19 who have not yet completed secondary school.

🗓 Application Deadline:
Monday, March 23 at 5 PM

This is a great opportunity for students to:
• Build confidence in public speaking
• Share their ideas about community
• Compete for scholarships
