Growing up on this very piece of Montana, Matt Martinson dreamed of one day building a home here. Instead, he and his father built something even bigger — a place where families, friends, and golfers could come together for generations.

Years of hard work later, Eaglerock opened in 2002 and the Martinsons have been putting their mark on Billings golf ever since.

Today, it’s still a family operation. The same hands-on approach, pride in the property, and love for the game that started it all are still at the heart of Eaglerock. From the course, clubhouse, and campground, the entire family is committed to creating something that lasts.

From the first tee to the final green, Hazen and the crew put in the work to keep Eaglerock playing its best — and lately, you guys have been noticing.

And when he’s not keeping Eaglerock dialed in, he’s busy being a dad to Maverick and Bodhi, with a baby girl on the way. So he’s got plenty keeping him busy both on and off the course.
