That’s what MentalClays is about.

You can practice mechanics. You can shoot thousands of targets. But when you learn how to manage your brain, reset after a miss, control pressure, and stay focused on the target in front of you — things can start to change.

Huge congratulations to Jason Johnson, who just accomplished something pretty incredible at the Southwestern Grand in Sedgwick, Kansas — his FIRST 100 STRAIGHT in Handicap! 🎯🔥

Breaking 100 straight is an accomplishment in itself. Doing it from the handicap line, under competition pressure, at a Satellite Grand makes it even sweeter.

Jason is part of the MentalClays family, and we LOVE watching our shooters put the mental side of the game to work when it matters.

Don’t carry the last target with you.

Don’t let the score become bigger than the target in front of you.

This weekend, local shoots were happening all across the country — and something pretty cool happened.

MentalClays members kept showing up on the trophy lists.

Different gun clubs.
Different events.
Different levels of competition.
Different shooters.

But the same thing matters when they step onto the line:

Can you stay present when it matters?
Can you reset after a miss?
Can you keep your brain out of the score?
Can you trust yourself and shoot the next target?

That’s what MentalClays is about.

We love seeing our members win trophies — but we love even more seeing shooters learn how to compete differently.

Because the mental game isn’t just for the Grand American, Nationals, or the biggest shoots of the year.

It matters at your local Saturday shoot, too.

Big shoots bring big goals, big expectations, and plenty of opportunities for your brain to start thinking about everything except the target in front of you.

Remember:

🧠 Stay in the present.
🎯 One target at a time.
💨 Reset when you need to.
🔥 Trust the work you’ve already done.

You don’t have to shoot the whole event at once. You only have to shoot this target.
