As a reminder. Your helmet needs to be withbyoubwhen youbtin in youbpre tech inspection form...there will be two. 1 from VKA and one from.pur Insurance provider and a helmet inspection for a valid and current, legal SNELL is a must.

Pre tech inspections forms will be available at the reg table or in you pre registration packet with your event credentials and swag!

This is the first time a Vintage Karting Association event and CIK modern karts have held a racing event together! This is an outstanding cross-promotional opportunity for our sport! Please read carefully!

Practice for the classes listed below on Saturday, Sept 5th at Finishline Performance Karting, Biloxi, MS. Starting at 8 AM sharp! ALL VKA classes, Kid Kart, Cadet 206, Jr 206, Ka100 Jr, Ka100 Sr, Ka100 Legends over 50 yrs old. Practice groups will be: 1) VKA classes, 2)Kid Karts/Cadets. 3)Jr Ka/sr KA/ Master KA; any twin-engine karts or rear-engine karts will have their own track time.

GATES OPEN 9 AM Friday
Fri Oct 30th: ALL VINTAGE Karting classes starting at 10 AM: drivers meeting, practice, and heat races. Sat, Oct 31st Practice/warm up and heat race, and final.

Sat, Oct 31, afternoon CIK classes: practice, Heat race. Sunday, Nov 1, 9 AM Practice/warmup heat race, and a final. NO NEED to take kids out of school to race!! Plus you will get plenty of track time and plenty of time to enjoy the coast.

Friday grillin session pit party @ 5:30 PM, Oct 30th. This is where you will make new friends and say hello to old ones. Be sure to bring something to share on the grill and with other racers or a side dish. We will also reveal our 2027 series plans for the Biloxi track and possibly another track within a convenient driving distance that Friday Night.

Soon, we will be adding a Discord channel to our communication options. Many of our racers already use the Discord App for race communications in various series. We hope this streamlines where you search for race events and race day updates. We will continue to find updates here on Facebook and on our website. However, all updates from Oct 29th -Nov 1st will exclusively be done on our Discord Channel or via the PA system at the track.

Please be sure you have your own transponder or have a TR2 Transponder and ALL Yellow Lifetime transponders you can use at this event. We will not have transponders to rent at the track for walk-up entries, only for pre-registration entries, and those units are limited.

Vintage Karting Association sells transponders; Drive Your Line KartSport, LLC sells Transponders; MYLAPS Sells transponders. If you need to rent a transponder, please pre-register and add a rental to your entry. If you own your transponder and will not need to rent one, you will need your number for pre-registration and if you register at the track. This helps us out tremendously.

We will be awarding one lucky driver entry the LONG HAUL Award. This will be awarded to the driver who has traveled the longest distance to compete with us in Biloxi, MS, at Finishline Performance Karting on Oct 30 for the VKA Fall-Fling. (Calling all Cadet drivers, come join Oliver)

At this time, our Long Hauler is a 9-year-old Cadet driver, Oliver Olsen. Oliver started karting at age 5 at Badger Kart Club in Dousman, Wisconsin. In his four years of karting, he has not only competed at various sprint tracks but has also begun competing in Road Racing in the 206 Cadet class on large sports car and motorcycle tracks throughout the country. Oliver is following in the footsteps of his esteemed karting family, including his grandfather, Danny Dean, a former sprint and road racer, and his mother, Deanne Dean-Olsen, who works behind the scenes for several organizations, series, and tracks, where you can find her in scoring, registration, or on the grid with her husband, Patrick Olsen. Patrick cut his teeth in sprint racing and was a Team Top Kart driver for several years before being introduced to road racing. Patrick currently competes nationally in the Yamaha Pipe laydown class for LAD Specialties.
