Thanks to the generosity of our community and the willingness of our volunteers to take a plunge, the dunk tank raised over $1,300 to support our event and its mission.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the volunteers who bravely took a seat above the water and to everyone who stepped up to take their shot. Your participation helped make the festival a tremendous success.

We would also like to recognize Binghamton native Jimmy Abbott, who earned the title of our top fundraiser by raising the most money of all our dunk tank participants. Outstanding job, Jimmy!

After a hard-fought 14-team double-elimination tournament, we would like to congratulate our top finishers!!

Thank you to all 14 teams that participated and helped make the tournament such a success. The competition was fierce, the sportsmanship was outstanding, and the energy throughout the day was incredible.

Today is the day!

As part of the First Annual Lt. Scott Pavlick Heart-Strong 5K & Festival, the 5K race will begin promptly at 9:00 AM today!

Attached is the official race course map, which highlights the route runners will take through Binghamton's Southside neighborhood.

We ask members of the community to please plan ahead and, if possible, avoid driving on or near the race route between 9:00 AM and approximately 10:00 AM while runners are on the course. Temporary traffic delays and road closures may be in place to ensure the safety of all participants.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation!

Here's a sneak peek at almost everything the festival has to offer, including food vendors, basket raffles, family activities, public safety displays, the kickball tournament, entertainment, and much more!

As you review the map, please keep in mind that parking at the event site will be limited. We encourage participants and attendees to plan ahead and expect to park on the surrounding neighborhood streets.

The attached map will help you navigate the event grounds and identify the best areas to access the festival.
