π STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK π
Kendra Terrell from the women's volleyball team is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week.
Terrell was instrumental in the Hornets' 3-2 win over Mohawk Valley last Saturday as she recorded a match-high 42 assists, nearly 30 more than the leading assist-getter for Mohawk Valley.
Terrell played an all-around match, adding two service aces, two digs, and two solo blocks. She also compiled a 1.000 hitting percentage from two kills and no errors in two total attempts.
This was the third match this season in which Terrell led all participating players in assists.
Terrell has now logged 121 assists on the season, averaging 5.76 per set. She ranks fifth overall in NJCAA Region 3 in both total assists and assists per set. Her 121 assists are also the 40th most in all of NJCAA Division 3 women's volleyball this season.

SUNY Broome women's volleyball player Nevaeh Masso was named the NJCAA Volleyball Division 3 Offensive Player of the Week!!!
Masso averaged an impressive 4.8 kills per set and a .500 hitting percentage in a 3-2 win over Mohawk Valley CC last Saturday.
Across five sets, Masso collected 24 kills and had two service aces in 44 total attempts. Masso was especially dominant in the decisive fifth set, when the Hornets were in need of a victory after winning the first two sets of the match but then allowing Mohawk Valley to take the next two.
In SUNY Broome's 15-8 win in the fifth set, Masso had five kills in seven total attempts and didn't commit an error, compiling an elite hitting percentage of .714.

Nevaeh Masso from the womenβs volleyball team has been named the first SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2025-26 year.
Masso energized the Hornetsβ offensive attack in a thrilling, season-opening 3-2 win over Corning CC on Tuesday, August 25.
Nevaeh was the leading point-getter for the team as she contributed 30 points in the match on 21 kills, seven service aces, 15 digs, one solo block, and two assists.
Massoβs 21 kills and seven service aces were the most in the match among both teams, while her 15 digs were second-most among both teams.
Congratulations, Nevaeh!
