We were in Palm Beach Gardens last week working with the guys from Heritage Links building some great PermaEdge Bunker System synthetic retaining walls. The place is Old Palm GC, with major course renovations occurring this summer.

Utilization of PermaEdge is in select bunkers and waste areas, being a innovative accent to the course layout. The team lead by Dean Bedwell performed at a high level, with excellent results.

We recently received an image from our Asian Distributors, Sports Turf Solutions, showing a very nice installation of Sandtrapper. Amata Spring in Thailand is the location where they selected Sandtrapper II on the faces of the bunker and Sandtrapper MD for the base. Thanks for the insight and great work!

On Feb 1st, we were out in Oceanside, CA working with John Ashworth (from Link Soul fame) and his team from Goat Hill Park. A fantastic place with a great vibe, this old public course is undergoing some great improvement and TLC.

Of note were the Perma Edge Bunkers we trained the staff to perform. Excavation, prep and wall building went great and their skill improved each day. Bubba Watson even stopped by to play as he recently joined the Link Soul Family. Thanks to everyone and job well done.

Work has recently been completed at Woodmont CC in Georgia. Using Flexxcape Seamless Liners, the bunkers will perform at a high level, with no contamination and great washout prevention.

A great PermaEdge Bunker pic from Bay Hill's Short Game Facility. Built in June 2018, this greenside bunker showcases a great revetted style. The synthetic assembly offers a traditional aesthetic with long-term structural integrity. A fantastic accent for a classic course's updated practice area.

We trained and assisted with bunker work this week at Trump International in W Palm. Revamping bunkers with Flexxcape Seamless Liners. Andy Kjos and his staff did a great job learning the installation tips and tricks. After 16 years in the ground, Sandtrapper II was replaced with Flexxcape. Manual excavation took several hours. Flexxcape installation was a snap. Nice result, with Flexxcape getting tucked under the turf.

We obtained some nice drone pics from golf course photographer Evan Schiller at Aspetuck Valley for the PermaEdge project recently completed. Very nice perspective. Superintendent Lucas Lownes led a great team from Heritage Links, with Mike Webb.

Scheduled to open in Spring 2021, Tower Tee is a classic executive course that is getting a major revamp in St Louis, MO. The plan includes a new short game area, newly redesigned 9-hole executive, driving range complex, and major new club house.
The plans included new bunkers, designed by Art Schaupeter. Nice work.
