The official page of the JLab Birmingham Bowl.

Established in 2006, the 76® Birmingham Bowl is a post-season collegiate football event, which annually has a positive impact on the City of Birmingham. The bowl game produces a significant economic impact, promotes tourism, enhances the quality of life, supports youth initiatives and honors our military and veterans.

More than just a game—it’s a Magic City movement.

The Birmingham Bowl isn’t just about what happens between the pylons. Every December, thousands of fans fill our hotels, eat at our local spots, and support our small businesses, pouring millions back into the city's economy.

The Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates that the Birmingham Bowl's fans, teams, and marching bands have generated a total economic impact of over $195 million within the Bowl's first 19 years.

We play for the trophy, but we stay for the city.

A game with a greater goal. ❤️

Since 2006, the JLab Birmingham Bowl has donated over $520,000 to the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

These funds go directly to the Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation, providing essential medical care for children and young adults whose needs would otherwise go unmet. We’re proud to play a part in creating better medical opportunities for the next generation in our community.

When you support the bowl, you’re helping make a life-changing difference.

New stage, same Magic City soul.

For years, our history was written at the "Old Gray Lady" (Legion Field). Today, we’re making new memories in the heart of the Uptown District at Protective Stadium.

There’s nothing quite like a crisp December kickoff in the center of the city.

Just a little midweek motivation. Keep grinding!

One MVP trophy is a feat. Two is a dynasty. 🏆🏆

USF’s Quinton Flowers is the only player in our history to claim the MVP title twice (2016 & 2017). His dual-threat energy defined an era of the JLab Birmingham Bowl.

Who’s a player you’ll never forget seeing live in Birmingham?

High stakes and even higher scores. ⚡️

If you like defense, look away. In 2022, East Carolina and Coastal Carolina combined for a massive 82 points—setting the record for the highest-scoring matchup in Birmingham Bowl history.

Think that record gets broken this December?

New week, new goals. Ready to tackle Monday with that same huddle energy!

Don't get us wrong, the spring weather is great—but we’d trade it for a chilly December gameday in a heartbeat. Who else is already eager for the next Bowl season?

The road to the NFL runs through the 205.

Before he was taking snaps in the NFL, Desmond Ridder was busy putting on a clinic at the JLab Birmingham Bowl, taking home the 2020 MVP honors. We’ve seen a lot of talent pass through this city, but that performance was one for the books.

Better together. Finishing April strong with the squad! 💪
