We are thrilled to announce that our 2024 Employee of the Year was crowned at the end-of-season staff party. Congratulations to Francisco Aguilar Hernandez, also known as Pacho, from the Greens & Grounds Department!

The title was awarded based on votes from both staff and management, selecting from the 10 Employee of the Month winners throughout the season. Now in his second year with us, Pacho, an H2B employee from Guadalajara, Mexico, is recognized for his positive energy, dedication, and eagerness to learn on the golf course. He worked EVERY SINGLE DAY THIS SEASON, from April to November. Along with the honor, Pacho received a $1,000 cash prize!

Julia Stevenson, BCC's Assistant Golf Professional, came third overall in the Women’s Michigan Open. Congratulations Julia!!!

Julia Stevenson, Assistant Golf Professional at BCC has found her way into the final pairing today at the Women’s Michigan Open at Crystal Mountain. Julia posted rounds of 73-70 (-1) to get into 3rd place after two days and tees off for the final round at 9:48am.

Absolutely in awe of the BCC team! During last week's power outage, they went above and beyond, keeping the building safe and golfers happy and even pulling off a top-class wedding without electricity. Their dedication, heart, and spirit are truly unmatched.

We are thrilled to welcome two exceptional members into the Birmingham Country Club Hall of Fame for 2024: Dr. Robert Stephenson and Mrs. Carol Friesen. We deeply appreciate their dedicated service and unwavering loyalty to our club! Congratulations are also in order for the Hall of Fame tournament winners: Paul and Cheryl Robertson, Stratton Dorozenski, and Jeff Sadowski.
