FIFA and the IFAB have approved a major set of new rules designed to speed up the game and eliminate time-wasting ⏱️❌

1️⃣ 5 seconds for throw-ins & goal kicks (or you lose possession/give up a corner!).

2️⃣ Expanded VAR power for second yellows and corner kicks.

3️⃣ 10 seconds flat for substituted players to leave the pitch.

4️⃣ A mandatory 60-second wait on the sidelines after receiving medical care.

Youth football is not only about tactics, passing or winning games.
It is about helping children grow with confidence, discipline and courage.
A young player may forget the result of a match.
But he will always remember the coach who believed in him, encouraged him and helped him enjoy the game.
The best coaches do more than develop football skills.
They teach children how to think, how to respect others, how to deal with mistakes and how to work as a team.
Football can create players.
But great coaching can help create strong people for life.

This past month, Dorian Del Toro, a newly-minted National Referee for Alabama, took charge of his first professional match as the center referee in the "Battle of New York" in the Prinx Tires USL Cup, a competition open to all clubs in USL Championship and USL League One.

Well done, Dorian! The first of many.
