* Promoting physical fitness throughout the membership and the community through systematic training for multisport events.
* Enabling communication among athletes to build a close-knit community where athletes can find training help and others to train with.
* Promoting positive heal
th habits and safe training. We are a club open to anybody interested in swimming, cycling or running -- fast, slow, currently afraid of the water or pro. COMMUNITY
* Locate training partners in your area and at your gym who share common goals
* Fun social activities to interact with people when you aren't on a sweaty bike ride or wet with chlorine!
* Opportunity to support our sport by volunteering in area triathlons, cycling races and runs
* Informational sessions with area experts on a variety of triathlon-related topics

MENTORING
The mentoring program pairs new triathletes with someone who can help them in their training. In addition, experienced athletes looking to move up to a longer distance or improve their speed can get matched up with someone experienced in that distance event. Those interested in the mentoring program can indicate this on their membership form or at any time on the website. Note that you can be both a mentor for someone less experienced and request a mentor to help in your training. TRAINING
