Upcoming Events:

Learn the Count Workshop
May 17 at 11:30 am l $35

Ashtanga yoga is a counted system — every breath and coordinated movement accounted for. Each posture has an ideal number of inhales and exhales for moving into and out of it, and traditionally those vinyasa are counted in Sanskrit.

Learning the count helps focus the mind, holds the rhythm of your practice, and connects you more deeply to the structure of the sequence. Once you know it, you always know where you are. [More Information Here]

Community Picnic
June 7 11:30–1:30 pm

Come hang out with your AYB family outside, in the sunshine.

We'll meet at Railroad Park for a relaxed afternoon together. Bring your own lunch and we'll take care of drinks and dessert.

Everyone is welcome. Students, partners, kids, friends who've been meaning to check out the studio but haven't yet.

Yoga Teacher Training
Begins October 2026

Applications are open. I'm co-leading this with Cory Bryant and we've put together something I'm really proud of. It runs October through February, it's capped at 15 people, and it's built for practitioners who want to go deeper whether or not they ever plan to teach. If you've been thinking about it, now's the time.

Ashtanga yoga is a counted system. Every breath and movement are accounted for.

The vinyasa count is what transforms the practice into moving meditation. It holds the rhythm, focuses the mind, and connects you to the structure of the sequence.

Everyone welcome.
