This poem

This poem will probably p**s someone off
Your family, your friends, neighbors or boss
Like graffiti speeding on the side of a train
Someone will see it and feel disdain

This poem will most likely drive someone nuts
They’ll turn up their nose and call me a putz
They’ll read it and feel it and know that it’s true
A spirit unbroken, still breathing, not blue

This poem, inevitable, will stir up some rage
It will remind them some people don’t live in a cage
Some will find truth, some will find sin
This poem is a danger and belongs in a bin

I don’t know if the meter or format is right
Don’t care if they read it and causes a fight
They won’t see the humor, they’ll spit and they’ll scoff
I guarantee this poem will p**s someone off
