SBS Cheer Prep

Hello friends, I wanted to give an update and a huge thank you!!
I have been in contact with Alexis all week. Things are looking positive for moving into her new home this weekend.
As of today I have collected baskets full of cleaning supplies, new towels, bath mats, blankets, a microwave, set of dishes, a kitchen table & chairs l, clothes for the kids, gift cards and $900 in donations (which I plan to use to complete the list and grocery gift cards)
My heart might burst!! I am overwhelmed with the amount of generosity from so many friends wanting to help this family in need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the hands and feet of Gods love!! Some days our world seems so dark and hopeless but this act of love & kindness cast the brightest light to who we really are!!!Alexis couldn’t stop crying today when I called to update her on all the progress I promised to help her make a home for her children. She never asked us for help, we offered and we are over joyed!!! She told me today that her walking into my gymwas the greatest blessing and that we are forever family now joined together by Gods perfect appointment …. She couldn’t be more right!!

Hey friends, I’d like to share with you and encounter I had on Monday and ask for you to pray about helping me help this mama.
On Monday afternoon a beautiful young mother of 3 walked into my cheer gym crying, sweating, lost and in need of help. She was holding her precious newborn son, only 4 weeks old and asking if I had a landline 📞 she could use to call for help.
The father of her children had just abandoned them. I didn’t understand what was going on and I was shocked by the situations. I immediately took the precious baby boy into my arms and began to pray as I gave her my phone. She spent most of the afternoon with me while we waited for other family members to come get them.
I asked for her contact info so I could stay in touch and check on her and the children.
She and the kids are staying with family members now and she has been approved to get her own apartment starting this weeeknd.
Such a blessing, however she has very little to begin a new life for herself and the kids.
I would really like to help her!! I feel God lead her to walk into my gym for a reason!!
I have asked her to compile a list of essentials she needs.
I would love it if you felt lead to help in anyway you can. Please contact me directly if you have any of these items to donate or even a small grocery/ Walmart gift card?!?!
You can drop off at my house or at the gym
Our family would like to bless them this weekend with items to create a home 🏠 for Alexis, Madison (11 yr old daughter), Carson (3 yr old son) and Courtney (1mo baby boy)

Hello, my name is Sommer Blackburn and I am thrilled to be taking over Lewis Integrity Cheernastics on 280 this summer!! I hope to continue sharing Mrs,Christa’s enthusiasm and love for cheerleading.
I fell in love with the sport when I was a little girl. I was a part of my middle school, high school & competitive cheer squads growing up and then blessed with the honor of cheering for Auburn University… War Eagle🧡💙 I was a cheerleading coach for a few years prior to starting my family.
I have four beautiful children that keep me super busy but in my spare time I enjoy privately coaching girls as they prepare for tryouts.
It’s a JOY for me to work with girls and share the love of cheer with them.
