Runners and strength training myths
Most runners I work with neglect strength training altogether or rely solely on resistance bands.
While they can be great complementary work, MOST resistance band training I see does not provide enough of a challenge to greatly improve strength. Grab some iron and drop the bands for greater performance.

Make sure to give your ankles (calf muscles included) some love if you seem to always have "tight hips." I was surprised to read no noted change in pronation was noted with restricted ankle motion.

A little creative taping I did a while back for an athlete. This particular strategy helped gain more proprioceptive control over his leg while reducing stress to his captain toe. Let me know if I can help you with your taping strategies.
