In celebration of National Police Week, our team had the privilege of delivering Chick-fil-A to the incredible officers at Mountain Brook Police Department as a small token of our appreciation.

Tomasz Wankiewicz has many passions, including being a first responder and pursuing athletics. The 33-year-old CrossFit athlete has entered international competitions and is excited to compete at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in Birmingham.

You won’t find a more competitive person at the 2025 World Police & Fire Games than track speedster and jumper Elizabeth Finnegan with the Columbus, Ohio Division of Fire. You also won’t find a bigger smile and friendlier demeanor off the track. That’s because our spotlight ambassador started as a cheerleader, which she says is helpful in her job.

Built in 1924, Boutwell Auditorium is surrounded by the eclectic architecture of the downtown Birmingham business district and has been a staple venue for concerts, sporting events, and even the circus! This summer, it will be home to jiu jitsu, judo, karate, taekwondo, and wrestling.

Our primary objective at the World Police & Fire Games is to celebrate and honor our community heroes. Today, on National First Responders Day, we express our gratitude for the tireless commitment of those who protect us.
