Congratulations to Kaydee Heaton on earning her blue belt!

Kayde is one of those people who shows up consistently, works hard, and just keeps getting better. Her persistence has really paid off, and over the last few months especially, her Jiu-Jitsu has improved a ton.

She always brings great energy to the gym, works hard every time she’s on the mats, and is just a great person to have around.

Well deserved, Kayde! Keep it going ...

Brock Morgan officially got his blue belt.

Not because he suddenly became “blue belt level” today , mostly because belts apparently have to be handed out in order. 😂

Brock has already been giving people problems for a while. His wrestling, pressure, cardio, and pace make him a miserable round for just about anybody in the gym, and he has a way of making every roll feel a lot longer than it actually is.

So yes, technically he’s a blue belt now.

Well deserved, Brock. This is just the beginning. 🥋🔵

Taryn Paasch competed in the 2026 TBA Muay Thai Tournament and put on a great performance, winning both of his matches and earning his spot in the finals.

Unfortunately, Taryn became sick that night and wasn’t able to compete in the finals the following day. Still, going 2–0 at a tournament of this level is something to be proud of.

Derrick Gefroh vs Cydell Patton Championship !

Derrick Gefroh is definitely a character, if he’s in the gym, you’ll probably know it within five seconds.

Derrick started training three years ago and immediately took it seriously, often training two or three times a day. Because of that incredible dedication, he has accomplished in three years what takes most people seven or eight years to achieve. His toughness and resilience make him an extremely difficult opponent to break or beat.

Derrick’s importance to our gym extends far beyond what he accomplishes in competition. The strongest teams are built not only by talented athletes, but by people who shape how others feel when they walk through the door. Behind the jokes, Derrick has a rare ability to read people, lift the room when it needs it, and make everyone feel that they belong. He is also always ready to help anyone who needs it, which says more about his character than any victory ever could. His humor may be what people notice first, but his generosity and ability to connect with others are what make his presence truly meaningful.

I can’t say enough good things about Derrick or the impact he has had on our team. It is truly a pleasure having him in the gym, and I hope he will always be part of it.

Of course, the real question is when he’ll get there, because the clock seems to be the only opponent he can’t beat :)

Ayden Schlafman VS Rylie Delonais

Ayden Schlafman executed his fight plan to perfection, taking his opponent down, applying relentless pressure, and outworking him with his incredible cardio. He came into the gym with a lot of fire and intensity, and it has been incredible to watch him learn how to channel that energy. Today, Ayden is one of the most coachable athletes in the gym, he works hard, listens, and takes on every challenge without complaining.
