Information and a great opportunity for Newer Officials:

These sessions are intended primarily for first-year, newer, and younger officials who would benefit from additional hands-on, on-ice training.
The sessions will be marketed and led by WHOA instructor(s) and will be approximately 1½ hours in length, including:
15 minutes of discussion prior to the ice session, if a suitable room is available
60 minutes minimum on the ice, with 75 minutes preferred when ice time allows
Since USA Hockey eliminated mandatory on-ice training, WHOA has recognized the importance of providing additional opportunities for officials to develop their positioning, mechanics, and confidence through hands-on instruction.
