Good Posture Begins with a Balanced Spine!
Misalignments in the spinal column will lead to postural changes, muscle imbalances. When the body is unstable muscles will compensate for others which are not doing their job, joints will be put through more pressure than needed, injuries will start to occurring more often.

🤦🏼♀️I see this common stretching with dancers and no dancers hoping using unnecessary equipment, tools, bands or different stretches hoping they will get better in flexibility?
🙅🏼♀️No! the problem is stretching with other tools risking posterior disk compression (oversqueezing your lumbar disks at the back) and creating lower back tension, both because of the excessive lumbar arch with so much pain while they are stretching.
🚩A Red flag to keep stretching this way! Bending from the waist and curling your upper body down first, before your pelvis, you end up reversing your natural lumbar curve and putting extra load on the front portion of your lumbar disks and the lower back muscles. This way you are risking anterior disk compression (oversqueezing your lumbar disks at the front) and straining your lower back muscles from pulling on them too hard.

Sway Back is a result of your spine compensates and the result is an exaggeration of the curves in the low back therefore the pelvis is tipped forward another 10 degrees or so.
