We are less than one month away from the Maidens of Mayhem 2023-2024 U14 Season Tryouts!

Check out the new details about the upcoming season. We encourage players at all skill levels to register for the tryouts. Players who would like to be considered for the team but unable to attend Tryouts should contact Matt Nelson via email at [email protected] prior to 8/2/2023.

Recently Updated: Tryouts will be held August 2nd at 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Coral Ridge Ice Area in Coralville.

We are proud to announce the U14 Maidens of Mayhem as a Tier II Nationally Bound Team!!

Championships are April 3-7 in Sioux Falls, SD.

Maidens will compete in the affiliate MWAHA playoff for a chance to qualify for the National Tournament.

Congratulations to #31 Eliza Nelson, competing with the 2010 Illinois Selects Rose Series Team this weekend at the elite showcase. Finishing with the player of the game award and a 4-1 record. Congrats to her and all of her amazingly talented teammates.

Maidens back at it! The 14U summer team is in full swing. A Saturday full of practice and Sunday games with friends from the Midwest Selects 14U team. No better way to spend a hockey weekend. 🏒

We encourage girls at all skill levels who are to register for the tryouts. There could be two 14U girls’ teams for the season, depending on the number of players interested.

We are excited to announce participation in the Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) for our U14 team in the 2023-24 season!

We believe participation in NIHL will:
· Generate excitement and energy for the team.
· Attract girls currently playing on co-ed teams to play with our all-girls team.
· Provide our team with access to play many other teams within relative proximity to eastern Iowa.
· Provide a competitive environment for our team to play girls hockey at a high-level.

We anticipate a high-level 14u Girls team. Play with some of the best 14u girls in the state this summer. There will be a tryout on Saturday, April 15, the same weekend as the 3v3. The summer team is planning to be at two tournaments with one or maybe two practices prior to each tournament. Tournaments are tentative and subject to change.

We hope that by keeping it low commitment (and high intensity) it will allow girls to also join other summer hockey teams, participate in camps, and enjoy the summer outside of hockey too.
