Thank you to every single one that wished me a very happy 44th birthday yesterday
I had a very good and quiet birthday
I am ranked third in the state for a supplement sales at my work
It was a fantastic day

New exercise routine I am to addd on to my other exercises..

10 times seems like 100 times….

I only was able to get a Solid 5 count outta my arm today.

My arm/elbow is bowing out when it should be going in or held close to my rib cage.
My body should not be Arching like it is.

This all the range of motion I could get,
I’m 9 1/2 weeks post surgery

PT started middle of April

I’m keeping good spirits and focusing on me and what I need in my life at this moment,

My recovery is super important and it is my main priority.

Just remember, you are not selfish for putting yourself first or before others and doing the right thing for your self and mental health..

I always take care of others and I always give to others before I do anything, so for once I’m taking a step back and moving forward on focusing on myself and my season of recovery

I have a long season ahead of me
They say it’s about a year for recovery to be full back to working out.🏋️

Rotator cuff surgery!!!!!

March 21st 2024

1st major Surgery ever….

Had a tumor in my left forearm my whole life until I was a sophomore in high school. That’s when I had that problem removed… and I was Wideawake for the whole surgery.

Recovering from your rotator cuff surgery is harder than the first day of you starting fitness .

You have to read train and program your brain and arm to realize that it is meant to be moving up and down and in circles because it thinks that you’re dislocating it when you’re not .

The one exercise that gives me the most fear and heightens my anxiety.

My arm feels like it’s being directed in a direction. It’s not meant to be. There’s a lot of pressure. It doesn’t want to relax. You have to be strong to get through this season of recovery after surgery. There is no place for a week mind when you are recovering. Just remember that , all it does is set you back and get you nowhere. You have to stay positive and keep moving forward even if you see little to no progress because patient is a virtue and all good things will come. You just have to keep your faith and belief yourself.

Clips of some of the exercises I have to do 3 to 5 times a day. Everything is 10 to 12 reps.
after I’m done doing those, I need to sit down and I have to use my left hand and do bicep curls and then after that I need to do shoulder shrugs and then I have to be seated and press my shoulder blades

i’m still in this race, believe it or not ! I signed up for this core challenge injured and set out to finish it injured or better.

I’ve seen little changes in my core since I started this challenge and that’s because I let my mind beat me and get the best of me .

been struggling financially for a very long time it has its good times and it has a lot more of bad times not gonna lie living in society. Today is a struggle. It’s hard and frustrating so with all that said, not having groceries daily and not getting your nutrition and daily will totally affect your muscle growth and definition everyone think so I gotta work out. I gotta work out well that plays a little bit of a role in your definition when you’re working out but it’s your nutrition that is the key to your success and changing your body transforming your body I should say.

I wake up every day with intent of having a great day I go about my day with a positive attitude, even though I know in the back of my mind, I just wanna cry and scream, and go dig myself a hole and hide in it .
But we can’t do that life doesn’t go away things don’t go away you have to head on like a bull, things are always worse before they get better. There is always the light at the end of the tunnel if you just keep your face.

All progress takes place outside the comfort zone. ...
