High steps? Running in place? Practicing for the all dad bod marching band? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

These morning workouts have been amazing! A bout of exercise increases your focus on the next activity, because your body is aroused. What follows a morning workout? For most people, it's the office or school. Hence, one of the advantages of working out in the morning is that you're more alert during those later hours and your metabolic rate is flying!

I can definitely tell a difference this week compares to previous with my work habits. I've been more focused, alert and determined and it really shows with my productivity (not tooting my horn here)

Had a pretty good start to my Wednesday, crushing back and cardio before the sun came up!

Deadlifts weren't coming as well as they usually do, but when you're doing them at 430am off of rice cakes and fruit, I dont expect them to 🀣

Humpday is here, have a short day Friday due to our company holiday party that I'm ESTATIC for! Have a great day and keep crushing the damn week!

Fridays night, work week is finished but that doesn't mean my goals are too! Everyday is another chance to be great, to improve ones self, to be amazing!

Have a great Friday night everyone, just finished up a nice back session with 20 mins on the stairmaster to finish it all off. Feeling GREAT!

Always stocked with 2 of my favorite grab and go snacks/carbs...apples and oranges! πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Apples are a low calorie snack, mainly coming from carbs. And even though someone might drop the "fruit sugars are bad for you" drama, apples are still low on the glycemic index, which means no blood sugar level spike 'round here. The main mineral in apples is potassium, which has been shown to help with heart health.
▫️
Oranges, like the apple also have a lower number on the glycemic index, but just a tad bit higher than the apple. Still, you shouldn't be worrying about the fruit sugar in these bad boys much either. One not so spoken about fact about oranges is the levels of citric acid, which can help prevent kidney stone formation!
▫️
So dont buy into the fruit sugar myths, enjoy your fruit, its beneficial to you in so many ways! Bananas are another one of my favs!

Straight up, day in and day out you need to grab life by the damn balls and be a monster, no matter what it is. Your career, your hobbies, in the gym, whatever and wherever...the only way to squash your goals in any part of your life, is to pay your dues and win the war.

Friday night. I'm still here, I have my outline on where I want to be, and just because its Friday doesnt mean I'm going to go of course and lose focus of my goals!

ONE STEP AT A TIME.

I have to keep reminding myself, the tortoise beat the hare, but how?

Perseverance. Successful people will not be distracted by their own success, but instead will accept RESPONSIBILITY, adapt and continue moving along.
▫️
Because no matter what, YOU will keep continuing forward towards your goals. Unlike the hare, who was so wound up in his talent, he forgot what the actual goal was, and easily distracted himself along the way.
▫️
This takes time, and over time as long as you stay focused on your goals, you will win the race. Stay dedicated, stay focused, stay hungry!
▫️
Back and cardio tonight, finally popped open that 1st Phorm Project-1 and it was LIGHTS OUT 🀯🀯, you need to try it if you havent already!
