🌊🐠 Summer students recently took part in an exciting snorkeling camp at Roosevelt Community Pool. From learning the fundamentals to practicing dives and even backward falls off a floatie "boat," these young adventurers explored the basics of snorkeling in a safe and fun environment. 💦

After-school and evening activities in the Anoka-Hennepin School District have been canceled for today, Monday, April 28, 2025, due to severe weather forecasted for late afternoon and early evening.

This includes all Community Education activities: Adult Basic Education, Adult Learning, Project Power, 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, Community School programs and middle school athletics, Early Childhood Family Education, Early Childhood Screenings and facility rentals.

Learn about staying safe in remote areas. Most of the day will be spent practicing first aid skills. Each afternoon, the group will participate an in hour of open swim.

Junior Lifeguarding is designed to introduce youth (ages 11-14) to the lifeguarding course by building a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills for future lifeguards.
