Congratulations to Senior Brianna Moffatt for winning Times Tribune Athlete of the Week (Aug 24-30)

Brianna Moffatt won the Athlete of the Week honor by capturing the individual title at the Ann Marie Simons Classic, where she shot a 5-over-par 75 at Tall Pines Players Club to lift the Abington Heights girls golf team to a championship victory. Beyond her major tournament win, she demonstrated remarkable consistency in regular-season league play, shooting a 41 to lead the Lady Comets past North Pocono and a 42 in a victory over Scranton Prep.

Another huge year for Nick Bradley!

Our Summer Showcase series continues, this time focusing on Nick Bradley!

The Abington Heights senior was named the Times-Tribune All-Region Baseball Player of the Year for the second straight season. He also reached the incredible milestone of 200 career strikeouts.

After setting records for AH football Nick continued to do the same on the baseball field on his way to compete for Auburn University.

Congrats Nick! We're proud of you! We're going to miss you but excited to watch you continue to do great things! War Eagle!

What a Year for Eva Kane!

Our Summer Showcase Showcase continues as the Abington Heights second baseman earned First-Team All-State and All-Region honors AND she has committed to continue her softball career at West Chester University.

Each of those accomplishments is impressive on its own. Together, they show the level of consistency and work Eva has put into becoming one of the top players in Pennsylvania. She is a tireless worker who always gives her best! We are not surprised by her success but we are extremely proud!

Congratulations, Eva. We are pumped to continue working with you excited to see what comes next!

Shoutout to the Eastern League Player of the Week our guy Ryan Cesarini for an insane performance!!!

Congrats to RubberDucks outfielder Ryan Cesarini who was named Eastern League Player of the Week for Week 20, August 10 – 16.

Cesarini picked up nine hits in four games played against the Altoona Curve batting .474 (9-for-19) with six home runs and 11 RBI. He led the Eastern League during the week in batting average, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (1.421), OPS (1.921), hits, extra-base hits (six) and total bases (27).

In the series opener on Tuesday, August 11, Cesarini hit three home runs becoming the first Akron batter to have a three-homer game since Bobby Bradley on June 27, 2017 against Erie.

This is the third time in 2026 a RubberDucks player has earned Eastern League Player of the Week honors. Alfonsin Rosario was named Player of the Week in Week 10 and Week 14.

Division I bound!

Our Summer Showcase Series continues with Dante Ruby!

After a tremendous couple of seasons at Keystone College, Dante Ruby has committed to continue his baseball career at the University of Massachusetts!

Dante started all 38 games for Keystone this season and hit .409 with 56 hits, 36 RBI and 11 stolen bases.

Now he has earned the opportunity to take the next step at UMass!

Dante is such a hard worker and such a good person. He is always quick to help and truly cares about others. We're so happy for all of his success. Congratulations, Dante. We’re proud of the work you’ve put in and excited to follow the next chapter!
