Ms. Meghan is joining our team as an official teacher this year! She has been dancing at Allegro since she was 9 and is a talented dancer on our competition team and in our pre pro ballet classes. Over last 5 years she has been a classroom assistant and substitute teacher. She is a senior and on the Bloomfield Hills Dance Team. This year she will be dancing the role of Sugarplum Fairy in our Nutcracker production. Miss Meghan looks forward to working with our young dancers and Ms. Jenn is excited to have her first student on staff! 🩰🙌

We are so excited to welcome Mr.Stephan to our team of talented instructors! He is so fun and loves sharing his knowledge with dancers! Stephan Emmanuel is a Raleigh, NC native and dance artist currently in his first season with Detroit Metropolitan Dance. A recent graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, Stephan trained extensively in New York City under artists including Freddie Moore, Earl Mosley, Ronald Alexander, Caridad Martinez, Benjamin Briones, and others. During his time at Ailey, he performed alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Memoria and as a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group in works including excerpts of Revelations, Bird Lives, and Night Creature by Alvin Ailey.
Stephan’s performance credits include Dreamgirls with NC Theatre, The Patriot Project with Black Box Dance Theatre, and works by Norbert De La Cruz, Jennifer Archibald, Ronald K. Brown, Darrell Moultrie, and Brandi Lewis. As a professional artist, Stephan draws from his diverse training and performance experiences to continue developing his artistry and share his knowledge with the next generation of dancers.

Ms. Abby is back for her 4th year at Allegro! We are so lucky to have Ms. Abby sharing her expertise with our apprentice and company ballet each week! You can also catch her performing in our Nutcracker as Clara’s mom. In her spare time, her and her husband own Oak & Reel.
