Oakland Rhythmics is dedicated to offering engaging recreational Rhythmic Gymnastics classes and a competitive nationally ranked team for girls of all age.

Oakland Rhythmics is a long standing member of USA Gymnastics, with 100% of our head coaches certified as USA Gym Professional Members. Our objective is to provide a fun and rewarding experience, while learning quality gymnastic progressions to develop competitive gymnastics skills, athlete responsibility, and important training habits. Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport in which athletes perform choreographed routines to music using various hand apparatus including ball, ribbon, clubs, hoop, and rope. Our beautiful sport promotes the development of hand-eye coordination, strength, musicality, flexibility, and confidence in a fun and progressive setting. We offer rhythmic gymnastics classes for all ages, as well as specialty classes in ballet, jazz, flexibilty and conditioning designed to enhance athletic performance.

Last week, our upper-level gymnasts were invited to participate in the Michigan Youth Excellence: Future in Bloom 2026 showcase, presented by Heart Blossom at the Detroit Institute of Arts. ✨

Oakland Rhythmics is proud to partner with Heart Blossom, an organization dedicated to providing funding for deserving students and helping them excel in the arts, culture, and athletics.

As part of the showcase, seven of our gymnasts performed for hundreds of supportive families and distinguished guests, beautifully exemplifying the athleticism and artistry of rhythmic gymnastics. 🤍

Out with the old, in with the NEW! 💕Time to get ready for our annual Mom-to-mom sale!🏷️
Drop off gently used items between 12:00pm-12:30pm on August 17th and August 18th at Eastover Elementary School. Make sure your items are labeled with your gymnast’s name, price, and your personal Venmo or Zelle account information.
Shopping takes place August 19, 20, & 21 between 12:00pm-1:00pm & 4:00pm-5:00pm.
Make arrangements to pick up any unsold items by August 31. All items unclaimed after that date will be generously donated to the Oakland Rhythmics Recreational and Competitive Program.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that starting this August, Oakland Rhythmics is officially partnering with EBS Mindset!

Rhythmic gymnastics is just as much a mental sport as it is a physical one. To support our athletes inside and out, our upper-level gymnasts will be diving into specialized, small-group mindset sessions this season. 🤍

Navigating the pre-teen and teenage headspace can be a beautiful yet tricky journey. Through this vital new curriculum, our girls will gain powerful tools to build unshakeable confidence, master performance focus, and develop lifelong habits of personal accountability.
We are incredibly proud to invest in our athletes’ mental well-being and can’t wait to see them thrive both on and off the carpet! 🎒✨
