Hockey is for everyone! 🥅🏒 Central Illinois Courage, founded in 2023, is a Special Hockey team. We are connected to the American Special Hockey Association.
The goal of Central Illinois Courage is to provide people ages 5 and up (no age limit) who have any type of developmental disability the opportunity to play hockey on a team free of charge. All levels of skill and experience are welcome; Central Illinois Courage offers learn to skate and learn to play opportunities at every practice. The Courage represented at the Pucks for Autism tournament at the Blackhawks practice facility last weekend!! We scored goals, blocked shots, made passes, celebrated birthdays, danced, refereed, ate and had fun! Congrats Courage on a great tournament!! 🦁💙💛 Thank you to our competition - the Guardians, Fury for Autism, and the Free Agents for giving us amazing memories.
