Our team dancers train together, perform together, celebrate together, and create unforgettable memories along the way. Whether your dancer dreams of competing, improving technically, performing more often, or simply being surrounded by motivated and positive teammates, Performance Team may be the perfect next step.

This upcoming season represents so much growth for our studio and our dancers, and we are incredibly excited about everything we are building for the future of Next Step Dance.

NEW FOR NSD27:
✨ Updated total-minute tuition structure
✨ Expanded training opportunities
✨ More flexibility for multi-class dancers
✨ Continued performance team growth
✨ Stronger age-based training pathways
✨ More opportunities for dancers to grow at every level

Because of the way classes are being structured this season, availability will be more limited than in previous years.

If your dancer has a specific schedule or classes they’d like to secure for fall, we highly encourage families to enroll beginning June 1st.

Emma has absolutely lit up the stage this season with her tap solo, “What I Like About You” ✨👞

Tap is such a fun, energetic, and important style of dance because it teaches dancers musicality, rhythm, timing, coordination, control, and performance quality in a completely unique way. It truly builds strong, versatile dancers.

At Next Step Dance, tap has always been one of our favorite styles, and we love helping dancers of all ages — from preschool through teen — grow confidence while learning how to create music with their feet.

Emma has worked so hard this season, and watching her confidence, personality, timing, and stage presence continue to grow has been so exciting. She brings so much joy and energy every time she performs, and this routine has become such a fun crowd favorite.

So proud of you, Emma, and all of the hard work you’ve put into this season! 💖

Our Mini Petite Musical Theatre dancers have completely stolen our hearts this season ❤️✨

Musical Theatre has always been one of the most special styles here at Next Step Dance. It’s truly where so much of our studio began — combining strong jazz fundamentals with personality, storytelling, confidence, and PERFORMANCE.

Throughout the season, these dancers have continued to grow not only in their technique and placement, but also in their energy, stage presence, expression, and star quality every single time they step on stage.

For dancers who love to perform, entertain, and put on a show, Musical Theatre is such an amazing place to start their dance journey.

And this group? They absolutely SHINE.

So proud of these dancers and the joy, excitement, and confidence they bring to the stage every time they perform. 🌟

A little glimpse into our weekend on stage at Precision Arts Challenge 💖

One of my favorite things about dance is that every dancer brings something completely different to the performance floor. Some bring power, some bring personality, some bring emotion, some bring joy — and together, they create something really special.

This weekend was full of growth, confidence, artistry, teamwork, friendship, laughter, and moments these dancers will remember for a long time.

So proud of every single one of them for continuing to step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and perform with heart.
