I was so excited to receive this game from Games & Round ! 🙌🏾🎉

Solve the crime solo🧍‍♀️, on a date👫🏿, or even as family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 like we did!

We were having so much fun that I forgot to keep time, but I think it took somewhere between 1.5-3 hours! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Time flies when you're having fun, & it was so much fun that even the dog was hot on the murder trail! 😂🐶

A lot of high-achieving women don’t realize they’re still operating in survival mode.

On the surface, everything looks successful: clients are happy, goals are met, the calendar stays full.

But internally, the motivation is different. It’s not peace that drives them. It’s pressure...
Fear of slowing down.
Fear of being forgotten.
Fear of losing momentum.
Fear of not being good enough.

That kind of success looks good, but it doesn’t feel good. It’s polished exhaustion disguised as productivity. It's the back road to burnout. (Ooo! That sounds like a book title! You heard it hear first!)

Operating from survival mode creates a pattern of constant doing, without ever feeling fulfilled by the doing.

Strategy, on the other hand, is intentional. It honors your capacity, protects your energy, and builds results that are sustainable (not situational) in all areas of life.

1. Audit your motivation.
Ask yourself: Am I doing this from alignment or anxiety?
Survival mode often sounds like “If I don’t do this, everything will fall apart.” Strategy sounds like “This move supports my vision and my well-being.” Get honest about which one is leading your decisions.

2. Redefine what rest means.
Rest isn’t earned after exhaustion (like we often believe). It’s integrated into excellence. Build recovery time into your goals the same way you schedule performance time (just like championship athletes do). True strategy values restoration as a requirement, not a reward.

3. Replace urgency with rhythm.
Survival mode thrives on urgency. Strategy thrives on rhythm. Structure your work and your routines around consistent, intentional flow rather than constant reaction. When you own your rhythm, you reclaim your peace.
