This year's convention was an absolute blast! We had a bigger crowd, better vendors, an amazing costume contest, live band, and tons of fun at the Illinois Game Con this year!!! Thanks to all the guests who came out to make this our biggest year yet! A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make it possible: our staff, our volunteers, all of the game, card, art, food and snack vendors, groups, clubs, & indie developers. Can't wait for next year, OUR 10 YEAR ANIVERSARY!!! See you there!

There's no need to leave The Illinois Game Con for lunch,l with such a great assortment of Food Trucks and snacks present again this year! We will have Pizza Payaa, Healthy in a Hurry, Tony's Tacos, Streetside Eatz, the Cornbelt Concessions, Old Tyme Ice Cream and the Red Bull car! So, from meals to snacks, we have you covered! iCon is back this weekend to host Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart World and Mario Party Minigames tournaments! These are pay-to-play so bring your A game. They will also be hosting a free kids Smash tournament starting at 11am!

Get ready for the Goldeneye and Halo 3 tournaments at Illinois Game Con! Goldeneye will be played with four person free for all on a five minute timer, played on a random map with automatic weapons, and the top player will advance to the next round. No Oddjob!

Halo 3 will additionally be played with four person free for all Slayer on a five minute timer, with the map chosen by the tournament organizer. The top player will advance to the next round.
