❗⚡ Due to the forecasted weather, Parks and Recreation has made the difficult decision to cancel today's scheduled Fourth of July Parade and the 9 a.m. performance by the Bloomington Community Band. We share our community's disappointment, but the safety of parade participants, spectators and our staff is our highest priority. Be safe and enjoy the Independence Day holiday!

👣The B-Line Trail will be temporarily closed Monday, Dec. 12 between Third and Fourth Streets for safety during scheduled tree removal. The trail closure will be clearly marked with barricades. Trail traffic will detour from the B-Line Trail west along Third or Fourth Street (depending on the direction of travel), then north or south for one block along Madison Street before turning back east for one block to reconnect with the B-Line Trail. Bloomington Parks thanks trail users for their patience, and asks pedestrian, bicycle, scooter, vehicle and other traffic to use caution along street crossings throughout the detour area.
