Last weekend our team traveled to Bloomington for the Candy Stripe Classic! For many of our cyclists, this was their first bike race ever! During the race weekend, the team participated in an individual time trial, road race, and criterium. The team secured several podiums with Bella Olsen placing 3rd in the women’s category B/C individual time trial and Molly Roberts placing 3rd in both the women’s category A road race and criterium.

The moment everyone has been waiting for is here! The Michigan Cycling kit store is officially open until mid-January (link in our bio)! We are excited to announce that the new kit is designed by Mumu, a cycling apparel company based out of Clearwater, Florida. Mumu creates high-quality, custom cycling apparel designed by cyclists, for cyclists. In addition to the University of Michigan, Mumu has partnered with other collegiate cycling programs, including the University of Central Florida, Army, Cornell, Auburn, and the University of Georgia. Beyond collegiate programs, Mumu has collaborated with several popular cycling events including the Belgian Waffle Ride and Best Buddies.

The official road racing schedule for the 2025 season has been released! The training has already begun and we look forward to kicking off our competition season in Indiana in early March.

Last weekend, two of our cyclists traveled to Breinigsville, Pennsylvania to compete in collegiate track nationals. These two athletes (as far as we know) are the first U-M cyclists to compete at this event! Congrats Hollie and Gabby!
