☀️🏀 What a great day with our Summer Camp crew at Will Detmer Park! The campers had an awesome time shooting hoops, running around, and making memories together. 😄💪

It was definitely a HOT one 🥵🌞, but that didn’t stop us from having a blast! A little sunshine, lots of laughter, and plenty of teamwork made for another fantastic summer adventure. ❤️

☀️🔥 Another awesome adventure at Switchyard Park today! Our campers had a blast exploring, playing, and best of all… making some brand-new friends! 😊🤝 There’s nothing better than seeing kids build confidence, learn to include others, and create lasting memories through play.

It was definitely a scorcher out there 🥵🌞, so we made sure everyone stayed hydrated, took plenty of breaks, and still found lots of ways to have fun despite the heat. Every adventure is a chance to grow, laugh, and enjoy being a kid! 💙🌳

💦 Water Week fun is a blast! 💦

Today our campers headed to Switchyard Park and had an awesome time playing in the water, splashing, laughing, and just enjoying being kids! There was lots of fun, lots of energy, and plenty of splashing! 😄🌊

Afterward, we stopped by Jiffy Treet for a sweet treat! 🍦 One of the important life skills we worked on was having each camper take their turn and order for themselves instead of having an adult do it for them. Learning how to speak up, make choices, and communicate clearly helps build confidence — and that’s what we’re all about! 💪🥋

Confidence grows one small step at a time, and today was another great step forward!

Today our campers went to Karst Farm Park and had the best time just being kids! 🌳☀️

They used their imagination to build a little house with tree bark, explored the dirt, found treasures in nature, and enjoyed the simple fun of being outside. Sometimes the best memories come from fresh air, creativity, and getting a little dirty! 😄🍃🏕️

We love seeing our campers use their imagination, work together, and enjoy the world around them. Childhood should be full of moments like this! 💚

We had such a great time at the Monroe County Fair! 🎡🐄🐐

Our campers loved walking around, seeing all the animals, and enjoying the sights and sounds of the fair. Of course, no fair trip is complete without a sweet treat! 🍦🍭

We even got to see the chicken race, which was a fun surprise and had everyone smiling! 🐔🏁

Days like this are what summer memories are made of! ☀️😊

🌞🔥 The heat index was through the roof, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying a great day at Flatwoods Park!

We took a nice stroll on one of the walking trails, enjoyed the beauty of nature, saw some pretty flowers, and even collected a few little nature treasures along the way. 🌸🌿🚶‍♂️

Getting outside, slowing down, and enjoying nature is so necessary. Sometimes the best adventures are the simple ones — fresh air, good company, and a little time to appreciate the world around us. 💚☀️

Today we had a very special guest come in and speak with our students — Sam Mitchell, one of our Black Belts from years ago! 🥋👏

Sam shared with us about his podcast, Autism Rocks and Rolls, and we are so proud of everything he has accomplished at such a young age. Seeing him continue to grow, move forward, and make such a positive impact is truly inspiring. 🎙️⭐

While Sam and his mom were here, she shared something that meant a lot to us. She said we may never fully know how much martial arts helped Sam with his social skills, confidence, and understanding accountability. Even with autism, Sam learned that everyone is responsible for their actions, and that lesson made a huge difference in his life.

That is what martial arts is all about — building stronger people from the inside out. Discipline, respect, confidence, perseverance, and accountability can change lives. 💪🥋

Sam, we are incredibly proud of you. Keep rocking, keep rolling, and keep showing the world what is possible! 🙌🎙️

🔥🚒 Today our summer campers had an amazing visit to the Fire Station in Ellettsville!

The firefighters were so hospitable and took the time to show us around, teach the kids, and make everyone feel welcome. We are so grateful for their service to our community and for all they do to keep families safe. ❤️👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Our campers also made thank-you notes and brought them some healthy food to enjoy as a small way of saying THANK YOU! 📝🍎🥕

What a great day of learning, gratitude, and community! 🙌

Camp adventure day! 🌳☀️

Today we headed to Flatwoods Park, where the kids had a blast playing on the awesome play sets 🛝😄 and even went on a little hike through the park! 🥾🌲

On the way back home, we took the scenic route and got to see all sorts of different animals along the way! 🐦🦌🐿️ It was a great day full of fresh air, fun, and adventure!
