Founded in 1992, Vertical Endeavors operates some of the largest facilities in the nation with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. Participants of all ages and abilities can climb throughout the year in a climate-controlled environment. Each location offers numerous top rope climbs, Auto Belays, bouldering areas, and sport lead climbing. In addition, we offer indoor and outdoor lessons, youth programs, group events, birthday parties and much more. A complete pro shop offering a large selection of climbing gear adds to the convenience for our climbers. Vertical Endeavors currently has sixlocations:

🎨 MORE TO CREATE WITH: New climbing holds are coming to all six gyms, giving our routesetters more tools to bring fresh, creative climbs to the walls.

📋 POLICIES THAT MAKE SENSE: We’ve already updated our reorientation and loose chalk policies, with more reviews underway.

🛠️ INVESTING IN OUR GYMS: Every location has unique needs, and we’re working on improvements big and small. Some you’ll see soon, while others will take a little longer.

This month, your favorite climbs are in disguise. Any climb above 5.9 will be marked as 5.9+.

Spooky Month at VES is all about getting out of your comfort zone. We encourage you to let the pressure of grades go – whether you feel resigned to lower grades because of your skill level, or you have to prove how hard you climb, don’t forget that we’re here to build community, move our bodies, and most importantly, have fun. Get on climbs that look interesting to you, try hard, and get comfortable falling off. This is a great opportunity to brush up on your route reading skills.
