Last week our very own Emily Owenby Groves was honored with the opportunity to speak at GACDs conference on Mountain Agritourism in Action. Alongside her on the panel was Rob Kaser from Mercier Orchards and Howard Berk from Ellijay Mushrooms.
She had the chance to share about our conservation projects, our active grant that supports a productive agroforestry riparian buffer zone, and the importance of keeping conservation as our number one priority for generations to come. ππ±
βFor us, agritourism is not about turning a farm into an amusement park. It is about inviting people onto a working landscape, giving them an authentic experience, and using that experience to help pay for the stewardship that keeps the landscape worth visiting.β

Noontootla Creek Farms & Fannin County Chamber of Commerce joined together once again to celebrate Firefly Day on July 2nd. β¨ Not only did we celebrate Fannin County Firefly Day, but it has also became a day recognized by the state of Georgia as well! It's always a magical time and we look forward to sharing the beauty of the farm, creating conversation about conservation, and enjoying a meal together. As always, The Mill at Noontootla, Chef Corbin, & his team did a phenomenal job putting a delicious meal together. πΌ
