I just love the morning lighted silhouettes this part of the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge Georgia provides!

Scooped up this little darter today on a bug sample for a fly fishing class. I immediately returned him to the water. It was in Fannin County Georgia. Would love to get an I.D. from some of my aquatic biology friends!

The Soft Hackle Pheasant Tail works North, South, East, and West. Hiding a tungsten copper bead under the hackle can sometimes entice a few more strikes in heavily pressured waters. I use it extensively in trout spey when swinging flies as a point fly to slow the swing and get a little more depth when necessary…
