Pigs in Space BBQ Team

Prepping and packing for Washington competition this morning. Ryan bugged out so I'm a one man (soggy) wolf pack this weekend.

We will be in Washington, MO for this year's BBQ and Bluesfest April 15 & 16.

We got 10th in chicken (104 total teams) and $50 bucks!! Looking for a competition in April now.

Meat's all turned in. Everything was awesome. Just have to wait around to pickup our trophies.

Finally made it out to NKC for the competition. Got the truck unloaded and ryan's out looking for beers. Come out for the snake Saturday parade tomorrow and we'll have lots of leftovers after turn in.

I'm thinking about turning in skinless, glazed thighs for our chicken entry for NKC next weekend. I think I can make them look almost the same with a layered glaze. Anybody have an opinion?

Made chili tonight with leftover pulled pork. Excellent fringe benefit of having to cook giant pieces of meat.
