75 strength sessions.
That means 75 hours spent getting stronger. 75 times choosing herself. 75 opportunities to show up, even when life made it anything but easy.
And if you know Kayla’s journey, you know this milestone didn’t come easy.
She’s worked overnight shifts, long hours, and constantly changing schedules. She’s balanced work, family, and everything else life throws her way. There were plenty of reasons to skip a workout, but she kept finding ways to make it happen.
That’s what consistency really looks like. It’s not being perfect. It’s continuing to show up, adjusting when life changes, and refusing to quit.
We’re incredibly proud of you, Kayla. Your strength has been built both inside and outside the gym, and this milestone is proof that the little choices you make day after day add up to something incredible.
Congratulations on 75 sessions! We can’t wait to see what the next 75 bring. 💪🎉

A little behind-the-scenes from our last METRIC Testing Day. 👊
A few weeks ago, we hit pause on our normal training sessions to see how everyone was progressing.
These days are a lot of work behind the scenes. There are clipboards everywhere, timers going, trainers bouncing from station to station, and plenty of organized chaos. But honestly, they’re some of my favorite days.
Why? Because this is where we get to see if what we’re doing is actually working.
We’re measuring strength, mobility, balance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, power, grip strength, body composition, and more. It gives us real data so we can keep adjusting each client’s program based on their progress—not just guessing.
Some of the biggest wins have nothing to do with the scale.
Watching someone hold a plank longer than they ever have, improve their balance, move without pain, or gain muscle while losing body fat... those are the moments that get us excited.
Anyone can hand you a workout.
Our job is to coach you, measure your progress, make adjustments when needed, and help you keep moving toward your goals.
That’s why we do METRIC. And that’s why we’re already looking forward to the next one. 💙

If you only look at the scale, you’d completely miss this transformation.
Kim has lost **7.4 pounds of body fat**, gained **2.7 pounds of muscle**, and dropped **4.3% body fat**.
The crazy part? Most people would guess she’s lost 15 pounds just by looking at her.
That’s the power of body recomposition.
Instead of chasing a smaller number on the scale, we’ve focused on building muscle while losing fat. The result? A stronger, leaner body that looks and feels completely different.
Kim came to us with one huge advantage...she already had her gut health dialed in. As a supplement specialist, she’s passionate about using quality, plant-based, natural products and understands that supplements should actually support your health, not just drain your wallet.
From there, we fine-tuned her nutrition, got her strength training twice a week, and let the process do its thing.
Now...let’s talk about the funny part.
Kim HATES to sweat. 😂
There may have even been a few tears during that very first workout. But she kept showing up anyway.
Somewhere along the way, she fell in love with strength training. She became part of our Elevation family. And now she gives us trainers a hard time almost every session...which, if you know Kim, is just her way of saying she likes you.
We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Kim, we’re incredibly proud of the work you’ve put in. Your results didn’t happen because of a magic supplement or a crash diet. They happened because you stayed consistent, trusted the process, and kept showing up even on the days you didn’t feel like sweating.
Keep giving us grief...we’ll keep making you stronger. 💙💪

I’ve been coaching for almost 20 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
People don’t fail because they don’t know they should exercise.
They fail because they’re trying to do it alone.
That’s why Elevation Fitness is different.
We don’t just hand you a workout and wish you luck. We coach you. We teach you. We hold you accountable. We celebrate your wins, help you through the hard weeks, and adjust the plan when life gets messy. Because life always gets messy.
You’ll never wonder if you’re doing an exercise correctly. You’ll never have to figure out what weights to use. You’ll never walk into a crowded gym feeling like everyone is watching you.
Every workout has a purpose. Every coach knows your goals. Every session is designed to help you get stronger, move better, and build a body that’s capable of keeping up with your life.
And while losing weight is great, that’s never been the only goal here.
I want our clients to be able to hike on vacation without hurting. Pick up their grandkids without thinking twice. Feel confident walking into a room. Get through menopause with strength instead of fear. Stay independent as they age.
That’s what drives me every single day.
I’ve watched people who were terrified to touch a dumbbell become some of the strongest people in our gym. I’ve seen chronic pain improve, confidence return, medications decrease, and lives completely change.
That’s why I still love what I do after all these years.
If you’re looking for another gym where you’re just another membership number, we’re probably not the right fit.
But if you’re looking for coaches who genuinely care about you, a community that will know your name, and a proven plan that helps you stay consistent long enough to actually change your life...
I’d love to meet you.

Perimenopause can feel like your body suddenly changed the rules. Hormones fluctuate, energy shifts, body composition changes, and many women notice that what used to work no longer does.
This is exactly why strength training becomes even more important.
Strength training helps:
• Preserve and build lean muscle as estrogen declines
• Support a healthy metabolism, making weight management more achievable
• Improve bone density and help reduce the risk of osteoporosis
• Increase strength for everyday life and long term independence
• Improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar regulation
• Support better balance, mobility, and joint health
• Boost confidence, energy, and overall quality of life
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is, “I just need to do more cardio.”
The truth is that while cardio absolutely has its place, muscle is one of your greatest assets during perimenopause. The more muscle you maintain, the better equipped your body is to handle the hormonal changes that come with this stage of life.
At Elevation Fitness, we don’t believe in punishing workouts or spending hours on the treadmill. We focus on smart, progressive strength training that meets you where you are and helps you build a stronger, healthier body for the years ahead.
Perimenopause isn’t something you just have to “get through.” With the right training, proper nutrition, and consistency, you can feel stronger, more energized, and more confident than you thought possible.
If you’ve been feeling frustrated with your body lately, you’re not alone. There is a better approach, and we’d love to help.

For those of you who say it’s too hard to eat healthy because you have to cook for your family and they’re picky!
That’s an excuse.
My husband is the most awful eater ever. I try to change him, but he’s a dude and doesn’t listen😂🙄. My boys try hard to eat healthy but they also need way more calories than me because they’re growing and way more muscle-y than me.
So when I cook, I typically make a healthier version for myself or just have something else on hand!
Last night was chicken fajita quesadillas for them and a chicken fajita bowl for me 💪🏼

🚫 You’re Not Lazy. You’re Overwhelmed.
There’s a big difference.
Most people don’t struggle to exercise, meal prep, or take care of themselves because they’re lazy.
They’re trying to carry too much.
➡️ Work deadlines
➡️ Family responsibilities
➡️ Kids’ schedules
➡️ Aging parents
➡️ Financial stress
➡️ The mental load of remembering everything for everyone
When you’re overwhelmed, even simple tasks can feel exhausting.
Then comes the guilt:
“I should be more motivated.”
“I need more discipline.”
“Why can’t I just get it together?”
But the answer usually isn’t more willpower.
It’s creating a plan that works with your life instead of fighting against it.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is stop beating yourself up and start taking one small step forward.
A 20-minute workout counts.
A protein-focused meal counts.
A walk around the block counts.
Progress isn’t built by doing everything perfectly.
It’s built by doing something consistently.
Give yourself grace. You’re carrying more than you think.
❤️ If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, you’re not alone. Come work it all out with us at www.elevationfitness.fit
