Good luck to all of the bear hunters this season. If you are lucky enough to harvest one and want it mounted, get it skinned out quickly and in a cooler or refrigerator fast. They will spoil quickly in this heat. Please leave more cape than you think you need.

West Virginia's early bear fi****ms season kicks off next Saturday, August 29, in Logan, McDowell, Mingo and Wyoming counties. Make sure you have your license, stamps and hunting gear ready to go!
