Bluffton Varsity Bobcats Firing On All Cylinders Against McIntosh County Academy Varsity Buccaneers

Bluffton Varsity Bobcats easily dispatched McIntosh County Academy Varsity Buccaneers on Wednesday, 10-0.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Dawson Kunze singled down the left field line, Drew Emanuel walked, and Carlos Garcia Obregon walked, each scoring one run.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kunze hit a sacrifice fly, Tyler Wolfe was struck by a pitch, and Ryan Goll doubled to left field, each scoring one run.
A sacrifice fly by John Schnieder extended the Bluffton Varsity Bobcats lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
James Bazzel earned the win for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking two. Holden Glenn took the loss for McIntosh County Academy Varsity Buccaneers. The hurler went one inning, surrendering five runs on one hit, striking out one and walking seven. Henry Numssen appeared in relief for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats.
Garcia Obregon, Wolfe, Goll, and Kunze each collected one hit for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. Wolfe, Goll, and Kunze each drove in two runs for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. Bradley Robbins led Bluffton Varsity Bobcats with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Bluffton Varsity Bobcats ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game. Bluffton Varsity Bobcats didn't commit a single error in the field. Schnieder had the most chances in the field with 10.
Blake McMahan and Kevin Derouen each collected one hit for McIntosh County Academy Varsity Buccaneers.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats will travel to McIntosh County Academy Varsity Buccaneers for their next game on Monday.

First-Inning Spurt Lead Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats Past May River Jv

Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats defeated May River Jv 13-1 on Saturday thanks in part to seven runs in the first inning. Henry Numseen singled, scoring one run, Declan Mitchell singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, J Sandula singled, scoring one run, Vinny LaRocco singled, scoring one run, and Sandula scored after tagging up.
May River Jv were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run.
Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. Mayze Wheeler drew a walk, scoring one run, #21 induced Sandula to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Numseen singled, scoring three runs.
A single by Jesse Sandula extended the Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats lead to 13-1 in the bottom of the third inning.
Brooks Bazemore led things off on the mound for Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats. The hurler surrendered one hit and one run over two innings, striking out three and walking two. #21 began the game for May River Jv. The starter surrendered one hit and four runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking four. Duncan Conn pitched two innings of zero-run ball for Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking three.
Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats amassed nine hits in the game. Numseen and Bazemore each collected two hits for Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats. Numseen went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Wheeler and Vincent Ney led the team with two walks each. Bazemore stole four bases. Bluffton Junior Varsity Bobcats stole nine bases in the game.

Bluffton Varsity Bobcats Come Back To Defeat Darlington Varsity Falcons

Bluffton Varsity Bobcats rallied to top Darlington Varsity Falcons 9-8 on Tuesday. Bluffton Varsity Bobcats trailed by as many as six runs during the game.
A triple by Tyler Wolfe on a full count put Bluffton Varsity Bobcats on the board in the bottom of the first.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats added one run in the second. Bradley Robbins stole home, making the score 2-0.
Darlington Varsity Falcons flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Miguel Garcia that drove in two.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. An error scored one run, Carter All was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Ryder Morgan induced Nate Ulmer to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Dawson Kunze singled, scoring two runs.
John Schnieder laid down a sacrifice bunt, which helped Bluffton Varsity Bobcats tie the game at eight in the bottom of the seventh.
Kunze earned the win for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Ryan Goll stepped on the bump first for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. The righty allowed seven hits and eight runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking four. Morgan stepped on the hill first for Darlington Varsity Falcons. The pitcher allowed eight hits and nine runs (four earned) over six and one-third innings, striking out five and walking three.
Gavin Carrick, Robbins, and Kunze each collected two hits for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. Kunze and Schnieder each drove in two runs for Bluffton Varsity Bobcats. Robbins stole three bases. Bluffton Varsity Bobcats ran wild on the base paths, tallying six stolen bases for the game.
Morgan and Keontae Scipio each collected two hits for Darlington Varsity Falcons. Garcia and Scipio each drove in two runs for Darlington Varsity Falcons. Christian Oliver stole two bases.
Bluffton Varsity Bobcats will travel to Hartsville Varsity Red Foxes for their next game on Thursday.
